I've worked under a couple of people during my time here who have been absolute sticklers for quality. A pixel here or there could trigger an outburst. That seems to have rubbed off on me. This isn't the best thing to happen to be honest.
The other day, I was told that I needed to let a few things through the cracks. I was told it wasn't as important. While I do agree, it's really difficult letting it slip. The more I look at it, the worse the itch gets.
The old adage of work smart; not hard does hold true to some extent. It's time I re-look at myself and let a few things go. It'll hold me in good stead going forward, especially when I'm working on time-critical projects (aren't they all).
